What better way to appreciate the urban topography of downtown Detroit than to go up to the top of the RenCen, Michigan's tallest building? This group of seven skyscrapers built in the late 1970s is owned by General Motors. The vehicle manufacturer has its headquarters here, and is in the company of the Marriott Hotel.
