Housed in a brand new hotel, this restaurant channels the spirit of the Mediterranean, with an interior inspired by the South of France. Plants are everywhere, from the wooden floors covered with Berber rugs to the wicker hanging baskets set against a backdrop of zellige-tiled walls. In fine weather, you can bag a table by the pool on the lovely interior patio. Chef Olivier Streiff, who arrived on the scene in 2015 as a contestant on Top Chef, has created a bold, colourful menu that is also inspired by the Mediterranean. Veal tournedos, pan-fried polenta and liquorice; molten chocolate cake with candied pepper; lemon tartlet with chicory chutney: this vivacious chef enjoys gently subverting culinary convention.
