Renowned Midlands chef Glynn Purnell is behind this modern take on a characterful beamed pub, situated on one of the UK’s prettiest high streets. The contemporary renovation has been beautifully done and, while the elegant bar offers a great atmosphere and some bar snacks, diners should head to the bistro to enjoy everything from steaks and burgers to their signature black pudding scotch egg and a selection of pies.
