The view from this cape, situated to the south of Dogo Island and the western entrance of Saigo Bay, is breath-taking (lookout platform at the foot of the lighthouse). To the north, you'll notice a high semi-circular cliff stretching towards the island's main port, which is the visible part of an immense caldera. Some 10km/6.2mi further on is the Tokage-iwa reptile-shaped rock, straddling the Tsuzurao and Washigamine ranges. A matchless view of the Oki Islands unfolds to the southwest.
